Thank you for supporting the stories of Ascendia. We want you to be delighted with your purchase, but we understand that occasionally things may not go as planned. Please see our policy below regarding digital and physical items.
1. Digital Products (eBooks & EPUBs)
Due to the nature of digital content, all sales of eBooks, EPUB files, and other digital downloads are final and non-refundable.
Once a digital file has been purchased and the download link has been sent or accessed, we cannot offer a refund or exchange. This policy is in place because digital products cannot be “returned” in the traditional sense.
- Technical Issues: If you experience any difficulty downloading or opening your file, please contact us at babs@babsrudlin.com and we will ensure you receive a working copy of your purchase.
2. Physical Products (Books & Merchandise)
Note: This section applies to physical items only.
We take great care in packaging our books to ensure they reach you in perfect condition. However, if your item arrives damaged or faulty, we are happy to offer a refund or a replacement.
- Damaged or Faulty Items: If your book arrives with printing errors, binding issues, or significant transit damage, please notify us within 14 days of receipt. Please include your order number and a photograph of the fault.
- Returns Process: To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
- Change of Mind: As a small independent shop, we currently only offer refunds for items that are damaged or faulty. We do not offer refunds for a “change of mind” once a physical book has been dispatched.
3. Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5 working days.
4. Shipping Returns
To return your faulty product, please contact us for a return address via babs@babsrudlin.com.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund unless the item was confirmed as faulty.
