A rebellion woven in silk. A secret that could unravel a kingdom.
Yolena is a Master Weaver in a land suffocated by a tyrant’s greed. When she is commissioned to create a masterpiece for the Queen, she realises the threads hold more than just colour—they hold the power to ignite a revolution. Perfect for readers who crave detailed world-building, emotionally layered stakes, and morally grey leads in a compelling no-spice setting.
Step into Oakhaven, a village where magic is a physical conversation with the land. Explore the intricate “Aquifer” magic system, where weaving acts as a literal current of change—though it often demands a heavy physical price from those who wield it.
Meet Yolena, a weaver caught between her matrilineal traditions and a dangerous political game. Face the predatory Marcus, the Captain of the Guard, whose obsession with power makes him a formidable and complex antagonist.

Considering I’m not into fantasy, I really enjoyed it. Really good, darling. I will def read your next one and am please it will be a full length book. Looks good, and I love there’s a schnauzer in there!! Well done.
It left me wanting more….. Wanting to know about her and her mother. Wanting to know about her magic and where it started. The history between Lord Valerius, Marcus and the Queen. Definitely tickled me fancy; can’t really think of any negatives, although I wanna know exactly what the secret message was and what the Queen thought of it.

A well woven plot, its an interesting environment that has been created, in fact its a very interesting introduction to the world of Ascendia as a whole.
Left me wanting to know more about what happened after, more about the revolution and what happened to the main protagonists. The characters were very well formed which is what left me wanting more. No 2 dimensional characters in this book.
