Cover Reveal The Weaver’s Gambit

The moment has finally arrived for the cover reveal. For months, I have been weaving the threads of Oakhaven, the secrets of the Aquifers, and the chilling ambition of Lord Valerius into a story I cannot wait to share with you.

Today, I am thrilled to reveal the face of that story.

The design features a symmetrical layout with two outlined phoenixes soaring at the top, their forms glowing in a pale, ethereal white-blue light. Intricate, open-work borders frame the composition, with stylized flames rising up the sides. All graphics emit a soft, magical glow against a background that gradients from deep, midnight blue at the edges to a luminous, pale blue at the centre. The title and author name are centered in a clean, elegant font that complements the delicate linework.

There is something deeply personal about bringing a story to life with your own hands. I wanted the cover of The Weaver’s Gambit to reflect the duality of Yolena’s world—the delicate precision of her craft and the rising heat of the rebellion in Oakhaven.

Every line you see—from the twin phoenixes watching over the realm to the intricate, open borders—was created to capture that specific “Aquifer glow.” I chose a palette of deep blues and ethereal light to mirror the current of magic that flows through Ascendia. To me, those flames at the sides aren’t just heat; they represent the “physical flare” of power and the transformative journey of being re-forged.

I poured a great deal of heart into weaving these graphics together; I wanted this cover to be a true window into the world I’ve built for you. I hope you enjoy this first glimpse of Ascendia as much as I enjoyed creating it. The book will either be available to buy from my shop on the website for 99p or you can access it through the newsletter for free.
